Copperleaf Golf Club is South Africa’s first El’s club, on a world class golf course designed by Ernie Els. The interior design aesthetic was based on a contemporary interpretation of the rural shed buildings that can be seen around the development. Living in the Copperleaf Estate is all about escaping from city life to a rural setting – as such the club house is a collection of buildings reminiscent of a farm yard. The interior architecture and design further established a feeling of relaxed comfort, with special emphasis placed on family living rather than the traditional male dominated golf clubhouse atmosphere.
