Kong & Roast Restaurant is a meeting of the East and West. Kong is dramatic, dark, and intimate, watched over by giant Asian terracotta warrior sculptures set against deep purple hues. The furniture, upholstery and materials are detailed and traditional, alluding to ancient cultures; the theme is carried through to an exclusive mezzanine. In contrast, Roast speaks to the West with light filled, spacious interiors, finished with a sense of modern detailing. Flowing ribbons of wood suspended from the ceiling create an intimate sense of scale for dining, set within the light filled space. The two spaces, while having distinct identities, complement each other and offer a pair of choices for the clients.
